Voice Platform Engineer

who will be responsible for owning and maintaining the Core Enterprise voice product sets.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide all the resources and the strategy to maximize revenue, minimize costs and provide exceptional industry differentiating services
  • Determine the architectural vision and maintain a strategic documentation process
  • Certify the selected technologies and products for implementation according to the policies
  • Maintain the life cycle support for these technologies and products
  • Seek new potential areas of possible improvements
  • Provide 3rd level support for Voice and Network Operations teams, if needed
  • Complete all tasks not detailed in this description in connection with the organization’s activity, charged by the leaders

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English (superior skills)
  • BSc degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer or other alternatives( Finance or Business)
  • Knowledge and experience with Cisco PBX (CUCM, Unity Connection, IP Handsets)

OR

  • Knowledge and experience with Avaya PBX (ACM, ASM, SysMgr, MM, MN, Gateways, One-X IP Handsets)
  • Knowledge of SBCs (Oracle Acme Packet)
  • Knowledge of VoIP standards( SIP – SIPINFO, RFC2833, etc. and H.323 – Q.931, H.245)
  • Experience with contact center solution deployment (Cisco ICM, Avaya ACD, Aspect Dialers)
  • Working knowledge of IP Addressing
  • Experience in call traffic sizing and dimensioning including queuing theory, Erlang traffic calculation
  • Understanding of firewall technologies
  • Experience with the delivery of complex IPT solutions integrated into voice recording processes

  • Reduce operational costs by analyzing networking costs and benefits
  • Certify the selected technologies and products for implementation according to the policies
  • Maintain the life cycle support for these technologies and products
  • Seek new potential areas of possible improvements
  • Determine the architectural vision and maintain a strategic documentation process
  • Provide 3rd level support for Operational teams, if needed

 Requirements:

  • Automate manual tasks using VBA to maintain continuous improvement
  • Enhance reporting processes by developing key financial system links and coding
  • Create new and customize existing scripts in order to help data extraction from Excel into SAP
  • Set up an interface design between DB2 Content Manager and several applications
  • Maintain full documentation of the implemented automations
  • Liaise with clients and technical teams to understand requirements and seek solutions

Requirements:
