Server-side developer (C#)

Our global partner, a leading financial services company, is looking for a

Server-side developer (C#)

with good experience in developing scalable back-end software or infrastructure management tools for enterprise environment. The projects involve developing the tool set used to manage server farms and host configuration.

The job:

• Write server-side code for Windows web based applications, WCF services, and develop prototypes quickly.
• Write development guideline or sample applications for other developers.
• Investigate and resolve Windows web application & infrastructure issues on the plant.
• Support operations teams as engineering escalation point on the plant.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies.

The requirements:

• BSc degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Extensive programming experience in C#.
• Strong OO programming skills.
• Experience in Test Driven Development.
• Designing and building WCF or other XML/SOAP/Restful service applications and clients.
• Database design and SQL experience.

Advantage:

• Deep technical knowledge of Windows OS and Database.
• Thorough knowledge of IIS.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
• A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Experience in developing highly available/distributed applications in a scalable fashion.
• Data Driven Development, Entity Framework/Nhibernate (ORM) experiences.
