Voice Solutions Engineer (Architect)

The Adecco Group, the world’s leading provider of HR solutions, is looking for a professional for its partner in the following position:

Voice Solutions Engineer (Architect)

who will be responsible for owning and maintaining the Core Enterprise voice product sets.

Responsibilities:

• Provide all the resources and the strategy to maximize revenue, minimize costs and provide exceptional industry differentiating services
• Determine the architectural vision and maintain a strategic documentation process
• Provide leadership in defining a technology domain roadmap
• Influence the adoption of new IPT related voice technologies
• Certify the selected technologies and products for implementation according to the policies
• Maintain the life cycle support for these technologies and products
• Seek new potential areas of possible improvements
• Provide 3^rd level support for Voice and Network Operations teams, if needed
• Fully comply with all security policies
• Provide guidance to less experienced engineers
• Complete all tasks not detailed in this description in connection with the organization’s activity, charged by the leaders

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (superior skills)
• BSc degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• SME (Subject Matter Expert) level knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony architecture OR Avaya IP Telephony architecture OR Session Border Controllers (SBCs)
• SME level knowledge of VoIP standards (SIP, H.323, etc.)
• SME level knowledge of voice standards (FXO/FXS, Q.921/Q.931, etc.)
• Experience of having responsibility for delivering complex IPT solutions
• Working knowledge of IP Addressing
• Experience in call traffic sizing and dimensioning
• Understanding of fire wall technologies
• Knowledge of Cisco routers
• CCNP, CCIP, CCVP or CCIE or equivalent experience at these levels
