Application Engineer

Application Engineer

The job:

  • Participate security, backup and redundancy strategies.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
  • Understanding the Application logic and participate in the design and technical analysis of the product.
  • Provide 3rd level support for Production bugs.
  • Liaise with the external developer company and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

The requirements:

  • Some working experience with Windows Server 2016 and MS SQL Server.
  • Solid networking knowledge (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL)
  • Solid understanding the following technologies: IIS, API, Powershell.
  • Experience with monitoring systems.
  • Solid scripting skills (e.g. shellscript, batch, Python or Java)
  • Solid SQL query skills.
