As a Release Train Engineer you will be responsible for supporting several Agile teams: Plan and prepare PI events, Inspect and Adapt events and plan or track overall Train progress; Develop and maintain product roadmap with Product Managers; Interface with project managers and Epic owners who depend on the Agile teams.

Our IT organization is responsible for projects worth millions of dollars and delivering value to our business customers or IT itself. Be it work related to our retail gas stations, the lubricants business for industrial customers, new systems being introduced at manufacturing sites and plants, or introducing cutting edge office productivity, mobility and VR solutions. Our project teams are using our internally developed processes as well as Agile methodologies for delivering the products to their customers. We are looking for people with several years of experience in the field of PM or Scrum Master.

The requirements:

  • Fluent English knowledge
  • Degree in the field of IT or Engineering is required
  • Proven experience in several of these areas is a must: Agile, SAFe, DevOps, RTE or Scrum Master experience
  • Project Manager experience is highly recommended
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Certifications as an advantage:
    – SAFe Program Consultant 4.0 or
    – Scaled Agile Framework-SAFe 4.0 or
    – Agile Certified Practitioner or
    – Certified Scrum Master or
    – Certified Scrum Product Owner

The job:

  • Line management and personal development of a team of highly skilled developers
  • Managing the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous system development projects from design through to release
  • Contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level
  • Working closely with Development Project Managers and Business Analysts
  • Define delivery phases of the project including activities, sub-activities, and milestones ensuring these are documented and used as the basis for the project event log, issues and risk log and any subsequent reporting

  • Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environment
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills

who will be responsible for working in a small Scrum team helping to create, unpack and refine user stories. Your focus will be to work closely with the Team, the PO and other Business stakeholders to help manage the backlog and ensure a shared view of the product is communicated. You will also produce other artefacts and documentation as and when needed.

The job:

  • Organise meetings and workshops with the stakeholders.
  • Assist Product Owner with backlog maintenance.
  • Create User stories on the behalf of stakeholders.

The job:

  • Develop project plans in cooperation with the customer, development manager and business analyst.
  • Remove impediments and support project team to deliver the product goals and deliverables.
  • Present status and developed functionalities in iterations.
  • Determine project roles, resource need, staffing, timeframes.
