The job:

  • Design and programming in Agile environment.

The requirements:

  • Python proficiency or Java / C# / Ruby experience and interested to work in Python.Proven experience using SQL.
  • Experienced with either C# or Java.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience of a variety of technologies. We would like you to have experience of several of the following with the ability to teach others and to define good practices in some of them: structured languages (e.g. Java, C#), scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Ruby), databases (e.g. MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle).

Architect/Lead Developer (J2EE, Ireland)

In the framework of our International Mobility Program we are looking for

Architects/Lead Developers (J2EE)

who will work as part of a feature team, developing in a full agile process using Scrum methodology. Our partner is a telecom company based in Ireland.

The job:

  • The job will involve leading a team of Java Developers building Scalable, highly-available Management features for 3G and 4G Networks.
  • Working in an Agile manner, you will drive the implementation of customer features using Java EE.

The requirements:

  • Very strong communication skills in English.
  • Very good hands-on knowledge of JEE environment (at least JEE5. JEE6 is preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with EJB 3.x (SLSB, MDB, SFSB) and JMS in general.
  • Practical knowledge of best coding/design practices and patterns, optimizations, scaling and clustering.
  • Hands-on experience with clustering in JEE environments, HA, replication and scale-out of backend JEE components.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major JEE application server is required (JBoss is an advantage). Basic configuration and administration, deployment and optimization.
  • Experience with distributed caching (Coherence, Infinispan) and other NoSQL systems.
  • Experience with REST and/or SOA.
  • Experience with workflow engines and business rules engines/CEP engines.
  • Knowledge of JMX, RMI, JCA, JPA, JTA, SQL, JEE security.
  • Knowledge of web GUI technologies (especially GWT) would be considered an advantage.
  • Basic Linux/Unix knowledge.

We are looking for an

Senior DSP Engineer

who is to work in Ireland.

The job:

  • Lead Project Teams and report on Software Development activities as appropriate to the Software Team Leader.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to other SW Engineers as a SW Architect.
  • Assist Team Leader with the following tasks as agreed:
    • Reviews of Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications etc.
  • Selecting appropriate design solutions and hardware platforms for embedded S/W development.
  • General software & product design reviews and problem resolution.
  • Complete scheduled tasks within assigned projects to deliver software development output to the project team as per agreed timing plan.
  • Contribute to routine software design reviews, peer code reviews and software acceptance test activities on a regular basis.
  • Comply with company Software Quality processes, ISO15504.
  • Contribute to the definition of the Software Development requirements and deliverables.
  • Facilitate and contribute to technical communication with relevant customers.
  • Participate in Technology / Supplier / Tool Selection etc. for new developments.
  • Support Product Marketing and Business Development activities as required.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years working with embedded software.
  • Embedded Software experience (a must); assembly, C, C++ for 8/16/32 bit micro controllers.
  • Software technical architecture experience (ability to lead technical aspects of a project : SW Architect).
  • Experience with ARM 9 and DSP development ( preferably TI DSPs).
  • Experience with Advanced Video Processing, Video Encoding/Decoding, Vide Compression.
