Ericsson Hungary is looking for a

Global Deployment Manager

for the Service Delivery Tools unit.

Our unit develops various Software and IT solutions supporting services delivered by Ericsson to its customers. As a Global Deployment Manager you will be in charge for deployment of our product to customers and end-users.

Main tasks:

  • Lead deployment team of 7-8 (project managers and solution architects) on and offsite.
  • Lead roll-out and migration of new software and solutions to our customers.
  • Make sure customer installations are running on an up-to date and secure SW revision.
  • Regularly participate on meetings with customer units, and with end-customers.
  • Build good relation with Ericsson’s customer units and regional management, lead regional steering group meetings.
  • Program management of deployment, synchronize projects ensure processes are followed.
  • Design common deployment and sales processes together with connected platforms.
  • Handle customization requests, collect demands and forward to development units.

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a project manager or as a service delivery manager.
  • Management experience in the area of IT or Telecom operations.
  • Basic IT knowledge: networks, hardware, operating systems.
  • Influencing skills, able to motivate people.
  • Good command of written and spoken English is a must.

Telecom Service Delivery Engineer

who will be responsible for helping to ensure reliable, responsive provision of a telecom services environment.

The job:

  • Plan and deploy standard IP networking solutions supporting the business growth (main technology areas: IP routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN solutions).
  • Operational and documentation activities related to the global network environment.
  • Technical project coordination at IT / Telecommunication service delivery projects.
  • Providing Level3 support for L1/L2 telecom engineers at complex networking cases.
  • Work with internal teams across the globe.
  • Work with external service providers and vendors on technical projects.
  • Provide on-call (at home standby) support on a periodic basis.

The requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Minimum CCNP and/or CCSP level technical knowledge in IP networking.
  • Strong technology knowledge required at:
    • LAN/WAN network technologies, protocols,
    • IP routing protocols (BGP,EIGRP),
    • VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE),
    • Network security technologies (CheckPoint, Cisco ASA firewalls).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience at operation and deployment activities at global/enterprise grade networks.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Windows based desktop & server technologies.
  • Analytical thinking for problem and project handling.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Service Delivery Engineer

who will be responsible for operating a financial transaction environment.

The job:

  • Plan, implement and operate a financial transaction compute environment.
  • Monitor, measure and report internally and externally on service performance levels, performance vs. service level agreements (SLAs) and service down-times.
  • Develop and keep procedures and standards of compute service delivery.
  • Administer and document the services, process inventories under compute service delivery control.
  • Contribute to tracking and continuous improvement of service levels.
  • Provide on-call support on a periodic basis.

The requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • 3 years of experience in Microsoft Server environment.
  • 3 years enterprise level experience in storage operation (preferably EMC Clariion, Celerra or VNX).
  • MCSE or MCITP exam or deep knowledge in following areas: Windows servers, AD, DNS.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Focus on results.
  • High attention to details.

  • Primary: VMware vSphere, NetBackup, Cisco UCS.
  • Secondary: Exchange, SCOM, SCCM, IIS, SQL, ISA, VMware View, VMware SRM, VCCM, VCOPS, o365, Linux, Terminal Services knowledge, working experience in PCI related infrastructures.
