IT Solution Architect

for our client in the telecom sector.

The job:

• Convert business needs into system level requirements.
• Create a consistent and scalable solution in harmony with existing architecture.
• Participate in the analysis of development needs coming from the business side.
• Ensure that the high-level requirements are consistent, complete and realistic.
• Create end-to-end solutions to discovered requirements.
• Create, maintain and store documents on design and architecture.
• Cooperate with other solution, network and enterprise architects.
• Keep contact with suppliers and vendors.

The requirements:

• Experience with architecture design tools (Visio, Enterprise Architect).
• Knowledge of architectural and framework standards: e.g. eTOM or similar.
• Knowledge of the lifecycle of telecom projects.
• Good understanding of business requirements and needs.
• Experience in solution design.
• Realistic and pragmatic thinking.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good skills in written and verbal English.
• Experience in MS Office, MS Project and Sharepoint.
• Strong cooperating skills.
• Independent and proactive personality.
• Fast learning ability.

Ericsson’s Global Service Delivery Center in Budapest is looking for a

Solution Architect Team Lead

for the Tools & Services unit.

Our unit develops various systems and software for supporting services delivered by Ericsson to its customers. The tools cover a wide scope such as remote access, network planning and network performance monitoring. As part a solution architect you will be responsible for collection and definition of requirements, high level design of the system and for ensuring the system fulfills the requirements.

Main tasks:

• Operative leading of the design and integration of a remote access IT solution.
• Lead a team of 5-10 network and system integration engineers.
• Scope, define and design solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions.
• Analyze existing solution, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis.
• Agree on deliverables and deadlines with stakeholders.
• Plan and estimate activities.
• Define acceptance criteria for the deliverables.
• Create and prioritize activities in the product backlog of the team.
• Handle the Kanban board of the team.
• Ensure team delivers full solutions, network designs, installation packages, configuration materials, documentation.
• Report progress towards the main Product Owner.
• Ensure coordination with other teams.
• Agree on solution requirements with the Enterprise Architect.
• Develop technical presentations and proposals and perform customer presentations.

Requirements:

• MSc or BSc degree in computer science, engineering or related.
• Knowledge of IT networks, TCP/IP.
• General knowledge on operating systems.
• Knowledge of IT security.
• Experience as a solution architect / technical project manager / IT team leader.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership, mentoring and motivational skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, structured work approach.
• Fluent English is a must.
